The Revox – You Treat Me So Bad: Vinyl, LP, Album, Mono
Imagine Switzerland … go ahead, just close your yes and let your imagination run wild. So what do you see? Probably some snowy capped Alps, rich delicious cheeses, the finest chocolate and charming farm houses rolling across the countryside. Well… you can open your eyes now. In fact, you can start crying your eyes out now Because your Swiss fantasy just turned into a psychedelic nightmare that even Albert Hoffman couldn’t have imagined.
Welcome to the real deep darkside of the Alpine culture. Welcome to THE REVOX. Stuck in a vortex, these guys probably haven’t heard a radio since they were toddlers. And somehow they’ve managed to collect a massive collection of musical instruments made before they were even born. Ignoring all the modern dresscodes and society’s DO’s and DO NOTs, this trio continue to ‘stick it to the man’ with their inability to try to fit in the modern society while waving their middle fingers in the air like they just don’t care. Rebels with a cause; and that cause is to eat your face with their pounding beats, throbbing pulses and grinding guitars and wild screams.
After their wild debut album “In Mono“ the trio now serves their second LP “You Treat Me So Bad“ – unstoppable garage punk madness from beginning to end. The boys included two raving coverversions of garagepunk-gems “Can’t Tame Me“ (THE BENDERS) and “Baby What You Want Me To Do“ (JIMMY REED) alongside all raw, untamed originals.
