Räjäyttäjät – Räjäyttäjät: Vinyl, LP, Album
Räjäyttäjät (meaning the Detonators) continue their quest for Rock N Roll domination and their debut full length shows their’s no signs of letting up. Räjäyttäjät kind of remind me of an upbeat version of that old 70’s Finnish Pub Rock band Hurriganes, if you remember those guys. Total guitar hammering Rock N Roll with a nice fuzzy, bouncing, bottom-end to make their songs sit just right. Ya the foundations are all Flamin’ Groovies, Gizmos, Pagans and Real Kids, but they take that and just totally go in their own ramshackle, Räjä N Roll direction.

Description
Their music has a nice scuzzy, murky grit to it, but that definitely doesn’t detract from it’s appeal. The recordings are actually pretty clean sounding and the fuzzy , scuzzy wall of noise that embodies each song is really what gives their songs character. The Stooges embraced that same stylistic aesthetic and Räjäyttäjät fire back with that same kind of effectiveness. Just pure fuzzy, laid back Rock N Roll jammers with guitar solos that seem to pop out of nowhere. Seriously one of the best new bands from Finland. Keep an eye on these guys.
